Adobe Photoshop CS5 is the standard image editing application used by the majority of design professionals throughout the world. It offers incredible creative freedom both in terms of manipulating existing images, creating new art work, and integrating all design elements. Photoshop CS5 also supports vector graphics, easy automation, and a wide range of other improved features, including the brilliant new Adobe Bridge, vanishing point effects, one-click red-eye correction and much more. If you’re serious about working in the creative industries, it’s no exaggeration to say that you must know this application.

 

2 DAY INTRODUCTORY COURSE (Tutor Led)
During this scheduled Photoshop course you will learn about the capabilities of Adobe Photoshop CS5 as well as build an effective workflow. You will use Adobe Photoshop CS5 tools for painting, retouching and enhancing images with selections and layers. 
Upon successful completion of this course delegates will be able to:

  • Enhance an image by removing colour cast, compensate for flash lightning and red eyes

  • Increase/Decrease the contrast and brightness of your artwork

  • Create simple compositions by blending images together or selecting only parts of an image

  • Use colour in Photoshop effectively

  • Create type and produce simple adverts

  • Output an artwork for web

COURSE TARGET AUDIENCE AND DELEGATE PREREQUISITES
This Photoshop course is suitable for all levels of Photoshop users. Seasoned users may wish to take this class to enforce their Photoshop knowledge or to rid themselves of bad Photoshop habits. Delegates will not just learn how Photoshop works, but also about many of the new CS5 features.

Ahead of taking this course the trainee must have basic PC or Mac skills, including an fundamental understanding of a computer's operating system, how to launch an application and create and save files, as well as how to copy files from CDs and other media.
