Each month we name a
'Star Performer', sometimes several, who have exceeded expectations,
gone the extra mile or otherwise saved the day in a client office.
People always like recognition or a word of appreciation, so if your
temp is doing a great job do put their name forward.
It's easy (and 3 ways you can do it) so if you would like to
nominate your temporary person
for a Star Performer Award just...
Below are our recent star

AMAR Shingadia
Well done
Amar, our BP Star
Performer for April 2010
Nominated by
the
Angola Business Unit

Amar has been working for Love & Tate since 2008 and has
consistently received great feedback from the managers and teams
that he was worked for. This is not the first time he has been
nominated for an award but is the first time he has won. He was
requested to completed several specific admin tasks and his
attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines stood out.
His
line manager said...
I would like to say is that we were very happy with his
performance, he definitely understood his tasks very well and
managed to deliver it with minimum intervention from our side. He
was very confident and managed a lot of tasks singlehandedly. He
arranged and attended meetings with people that were receiving
documents he was formatting, agreed the process and established good rapp
ort with them. He also liaised well with other stakeholders that
were responsible for sending him documents for formatting, chased
people when necessary and escalated any problems. Amar didn't have a
problem integrating into our team and we definitely enjoyed having
him around!
His nomination has also been supported by
Holly Vidler
in HR.
Congratulations once again, Amar has continued to work with us and
everyone at Love & Tate enjoys having him on the team.
HAYLEY Mills &
NOKWAZI
Mayis
Congratulations to
Hayley Mills
and Nokwazi Mayise,
Love & Tate Star Performers for
April 2010.
Nominated by Sharon Charlton
Senior Property Manager of
Viridian Housing.
Hayley supports the team as the Receptionist and Nokwazi is a Housing Officer.
Sharon has been delighted with both Hayley and Nokwazi and couldn’t
be without them. She said “Hayley is a joy. I find it a constant
surprise that I actually have a Receptionist who is, and can be, so
much more. She has fit in here at HGH as if she has been here for
years and is a pleasure to work with. Both staff and residents have
welcomed her. Again I would love to keep her, but we
only house
people and not animals which I know is her first love.”
Nokwazi worked for us before this assignment and was an
integral part of the team then, this is why there was never a
question about her coming back. I can rely on her totally to fulfil
all the tasks I need a Housing Officer to do, and step in to cover
for me
when necessary. I am only sorry that Nokwazi does not see her
careerin Housing Management as I would have no hesitation in
keeping her here permanently.
A huge thank you to
both Hayley & Nokwazi who continue to be part of the team at Helen
Graham House, one of the properties run by Viridian Housing.

working for them ever since. Her manager Helen nominated her

Emma

and has got to know everyone here at
FTSE. Emma is always polite and
goes out of her way to help where she can. She is certainly a valued
member of the Business Services team. She is an asset to FTSE.

Emma who continues to work for
FTSE, the professional and cheery
individual who greets their visitors.

KIM Burreddu
Congratulations to Kim, our
BP Star Performer for March
2010
Nominated by
Alison Carse

Kim first starting working for Love & Tate in 2006 and worked with
us for two years before finding a permanent position. After taking a
career break to go travelling Kim returned to us at the beginning of
March and we were delighted to find her work straight away.
Kim was nominated by the PA she covered,
Alison Carse
who said...
Kim recently covered my role while I was on holiday; during
her time with us, she took a comprehensive handover in her
stride and I left for my holiday feeling confident that
everything would be handled in my absence. Upon my return, there
were 3 neat folders of emails for me (Done, To Do, Not Sure) as
well as a comprehensive list explaining exactly what had been
done as well as what was outstanding in my absence. As a result,
there was no 'down-time' in getting back into the swing of
things and if it wasn't for her, I'd still be trying to catch
up! I wish Kim every success and hope she will come back and
visit us soon.
Kim is a dissevered
winner, proving that even in a short term assignment you can make a
huge difference to the team and the person you covered with clear
communication. Well done Kim.

her time with us, she is perfect and we will be sad to say
goodbye to her.
A
huge thank you to Rima who continues to work for Love & Tate, she
has received excellent feedback from our client she is currently
working for and again they do not want to loose her.

extend her time with us as we really do not know what we would
do without her. On behalf of the Emergency Planning and Response
