This is a permanent
role working for a not for profit organisation, based in the City of
London, who have a large event space where they hold a variety of
events. They require someone who will work with the manager and team
to prepare for events, provide a silver service waiting service and
complete valet / butler duties.
On a day to day basis you will be involved with:
• Cleaning, preparing and setting up tables and space for events –
these could be a small lunch or breakfast through to large events.
• Serving food and wine
• Preparing tea and coffee
• Briefing and managing casual event staff, training on Health and
Safety and ensuring these standards are met
• Polishing of silver plate and brass and cleaning the event space
• Moving furniture
• Providing a valet service to senior staff
The ideal candidate will need to:
• Have WSET level 1
• Be IT literate (MS Office) and able to set up AV equipment
• Have experience of working within a 5 star hospitality environment
(silver service / butler).
This is a corporate role and hence hours are Monday to Friday only,
working shifts over the period of 7.00am – 12.00am. It offers a
salary of up to £31,000 per annum as well as an exceptional benefits
package that includes health insurance and access to training.
