We are working with a
leading firm of patent attorneys who require an experienced legal
secretary / paralegal assistant who’s worked in Intellectual
Property. The role is based in central London and in the long-term
will offer personal development opportunities.
On a day to day basis you will be involved in:
• Assisting Patent Attorneys with client based administration
• Proving secretarial support including audio and copy typing
correspondence, memos, client documents and standard letters
• Diary management for the attorneys
• Calculating and preparing client invoicing
• Creating and preparing reports using Excel
• Assisting with emails, faxes, scanning and file management
• Other ad hoc administrative and secretarial support to ensure the
team meet’s clients requirements
This role would suit an experienced paralegal or legal secretary,
who has worked with patent attorneys previously and is looking for a
role with paralegal duties that can be of a complex nature. Accurate
audio touch typing skills are essential and these will be assessed
at interview together with spelling and grammar. Advanced MS Office
is also a must.
This role is immediately available and offers a salary of £25,000 -
£35,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. With this the
