We are currently
recruiting for a Business Analyst who has project management
experience working within the Learning & Talent arena for a project
to start asap. This is a 5 month role based in South London and it
is imperative that the successful candidate has experience of
working in Talent & Learning.
About the project
My Talent & Learning Solution (MyT&L) provides the processes and
system to support Talent Management process and formal learning. MyT&L
is a global solution deployed across many businesses in multiple
countries. The main technology used by the organisation for MyT&L is
CSoD (Cornerstone on Demand).
To lead the new functionality release for the organisation's global
talent & learning Infrastructure and ensure that the solution
provides best in class platform for employees to perform formal
training and complete talent actions. The role also includes
championing technology innovation for Talent and Learning e.g.
developing how mobile and gamification contribute to formal
The role encompasses the full process and system design lifecycle
from strategic alignment through to requirements analysis and
capture, solution development, process documentation, end user and
regression testing, as well as ensuring appropriate change
management, training and communications approaches are put in place
and executed to support new initiatives.
• To deliver the above, the job holder will work in partnership with
the Learning & Talent Portfolio Manager, other HRIS Product Managers
e.g. SAP HR, MyHR, Resourcing and IT&S but built best in class user
experience via system integration.
• You will also lead the engagement and governance model with key
technology vendors to request product enhancements that fit the
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders, peers and other
extended team members to influence and develop modern and innovative
solutions that meet or exceed business needs; Support the deployment
of HRIS applications to the various segments and BUs, working
closely with the project team and with the key stakeholders,
ensuring all requirements and gaps are captured, analysed and
followed up on Support BAU process for HRIS application.
• Function as internal consultant to HR community and senior
stakeholders to deliver process improvement tools and methodologies
to support business priorities.
• Work with external providers keeping up to date with best practice
tools and technology needed to deliver modern portal and service
enabling solutions; Work with IT&S and software vendors to ensure
the development and delivery of solutions to end users; Work with
the Experience Team to define best practice user journeys and
achieve best in class user experience for the proposed solutions;
Ensure that the implemented solutions continuously meet compliance
and data privacy requirements; Ensure proper training and
documentation is available for end users and/or operations team;
Manage third party suppliers and providers; Project Management:
Manage the requirements gathering, design and support the deployment
of any agreed solutions; Establish operational objectives and work
plans, and ensure performance against requirements with extended
team and other management; Evaluate progress and against planned
deliverables, and determine risk & issues Collaborate with the
Product team to ensure deployments are integrated and transitioned
to the steady-state successfully Key Challenges and Complexities of
Role in the next 12 months Key Contributor / Lead / Facilitate
requirement of technology to meet Learning & Talent agenda by
participating in key forums and co-ordinating with key stakeholders.
• Building product / configuration, solution deployment, and support
& operating model to cater to competency requirements and associated
required technology option by partnering with academy leads, process
owners and client solutions.
• Manage multiple stakeholders and with their businesses'
requirements ensure the right to be model and operational steps are
fully agreed with right governance forums.
What we are looking for
• Considerable experience of working as an end user or Admin in
Enterprise applications; Experience of working with the HR Learning
or Talent related functionalities; Good project management
experience with the ability to understand, define and manage project
plans, dependencies risks and issues.
• Knowledge of technology trends and ability to keep informed about
leading edge technologies and their application to HR and HR
• Product or project management for HR end-user oriented
applications; Experience & knowledge of HRIS projects or products;
Good Knowledge of CSoD or other equivalent vendor platforms Good
understanding of HR process especially in Learning or Talent areas.
