We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner for a temporary assignment to start ASAP until the end of Jan 2018 to assist with an organisational change management project.

The successful candidate will have worked for a matrix organisation and have global experience. This role will be based near Heathrow, so it is important to consider this when you apply.

The role will involve:

- Global coordination / leadership of the implementation of a global organisational change
- Implementation of an agreed new global operating model and org structure
- Liaising with local teams within 5 different locations across the globe to manage all activities: impact assessment, selection process, consultation requirements, etc.
- Supporting change management activities throughout the different phases of the project

The Business Partner will need to demonstrate sufficient business knowledge and commercial acumen to be effective in contributing to critical people decisions and developing people plans. Balance business requests with a primary focus on delivering key people plan objectives, aligned with business and function strategies.


Talent Management - apply group frameworks and tools to assess future organisational capability requirements and action plans. Partner business to carry out annual talent review and ensure plan is developed and auctioned. Work with leadership to drive rigorous talent management and succession planning agendas within each team.

Employee Relations - Primary point of contact for all local team leads on employee relations matters. Delivery of disciplinary processes, including execution of investigations. Advise line management on employment regulations and procedures. Engage with ER and legal to ensure no grievances or employment tribunals as a result of poor practice.

HR Operations - Act as expert client for the business with the operational service delivery model; engage leadership and line managers to leverage maximum value from the service delivery model and to ensure silent running of HR operations. Work with business to develop effective use of SAP post initial implementation phase. Local contact for HR administration queries and guidance.

Primary accountability for ensuring accuracy of team leads people data on a monthly basis. Provide both regular tracking and ad hoc data cuts related to both functions of people data and metrics. Ensures business compliance with HR polices and programmes.

Advise business leadership on local legal / regulatory requirements. In line with the theme of One HR acts as a HR professional who supports the goals of the overall HR function by raising the bar on team performance

Develop and diagnose learning requirements and partner with specialists to develop and implement effective solutions that leverage group frameworks and tools. Work with leaders to ensure leadership development programmes are successfully implemented and members have individual development plans. Coach business leadership and line managers to build capability as a source of performance improvement, implement key L&D initiatives and programs in partnership with team leads and in collaboration with L&D team.

Reward and Performance - work with the reward team on suitable industry market data for job families and to maintain competitive reward strategies and interventions, particularly during pay review. Provide advice and guidance to business leadership on remuneration packages for new hires and existing staff, consistent with group policy and governance requirements. Support execution of key reward and performance cycle programs and initiatives. Facilitate business unit Performance Management (SMART objectives, Performance Review) and Reward (pay / promotion review, bonus, stock and recognition) processes ensuring alignment with business / individual results.

Recruitment and Retention development and execution of strategic resource and retention plans to attract and retain the best expertise for the function. Partner locally with business to ensure robust attraction and selection. Partner with resourcing team to achieve superior access to external talent and continuous streamlining of processes.
