We are currently recruiting a HR Advisor based in Pangbourne (near Reading), for a long term temporary role to start at the end of April.

The Advisor will be responsible for delivering the HR agenda, working closely with the Leadership team to deliver the People Agenda for the respective businesses across the globe. The role directly manages the requirements of the UK & Ireland based employees and works through a network of Country HR advisors in delivering the HR services for the global population.

Responsibilities

- Support in the development and implementation of the overall People Agenda. This includes co-ordinating and delivery on the talent & performance management agenda for the business at a global level.

- Provide full HR support to the Leadership team and in particular to the Global functional teams and the Europe & Africa Sales team, covering all HR activity streams:

o People Plan engages line managers in the successful delivery of key people initiatives.
o Organisational Effectiveness provides line management with advice and options for improving organisational effectiveness, and delivering re-organisations in a compliant and engaging manner.
o Talent Management & Succession Planning delivers talent review process in collaboration with line managers.
o Recruitment & Staffing in collaboration with Resourcing, develops resourcing options for the function in line with future capability needs, conforming with group recruitment standards.
o Leadership Development implements key leadership development initiatives and programmes
o Reward & Performance Management ensures line manager enrolment and execution of key reward and performance cycle activities. Facilitates performance management & reward processes ensuring alignment with business and individual results.
o Employee Relations and Engagement primary point of contact for all employee relations matters (sickness absence, disciplinary etc.)
o Meritocracy, Diversity & Inclusion Ensures the principles of MD&I underpin and influence the development and delivering of all HR solutions to the business.

- Responsible for HR activities for Republic of Ireland and manages Payroll, People reporting and administration of Share scheme for the employees in Ireland.

- Leading on specific HR initiatives, including activities such as Challenge/Future Leaders Programme, D&I initiatives, EL programme, Line Manager Capability etc.

Desirable criteria

CIPD qualification (or in progress of attaining)
Broad understanding of the varying legal requirements in different countries
Experience of working internationally
Experience of leading projects
