Blended/Virtual Learning Coordinator

Upstream Learning is expanding its scope considerably in the area of virtual and blended learning, utilising different technical platforms for programme delivery. The team this role supports is responsible for the implementation of new learning technologies globally in the company as well as the delivery of all UK based face to face training events. This role will also work closely with teams in the hub locations of Houston, Sunbury and Aberdeen.

Responsibilities

o Serve as session Single Point Accountability
o Loads SDP (Session Details and Pre-work) in VTA (Virtual Training Assistant) database or VLE(Virtual Learning Environment)
o Assure appropriate venue booked and confirmed
o Assure faculty is scheduled and confirmed
o Arrange for room set and equipment as needed
o Create and follow session task list
o Assure classrooms are set up correctly prior to beginning of each session
o Manage most communications to faculty and participants using standard coms documents – exceptions are missing cost codes to participants, which are done by the Production Office
o Complete session tracker/calculator
o Open and close sessions
o Manage online classroom setup, kick off, level one technical support, uploading files for the session and uploading the recordings following the OLC(On Line Classroom) session
o Initiate the creation of the VLE (Moodle)

Experience & Knowledge

o Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an administrative role
o Managing work to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; planning to meet anticipated future situations / issues
o Demonstrated customer focus and ability to work with many different people
o High level of competency with Microsoft Office.
o Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems
o Must have the ability to work cooperatively and flexibly as part of a geographically dispersed team.


Desired Skills and Experience
Experience in working video conferencing technology would be a benefit
