Responsibilities
- Establish role as single point of accountability for operational support of allocated blended learning programmes within Learning
- Application of standard learning operations processes to all training programmes
- Proficient use of VLE systems and other internal data bases in support of training programmes
- Support business users in the use of learning management system
- Timely and accurate communication on all programme related enquiries with internal and external stakeholders
- Ongoing identification of opportunities for continuous improvement through relevant
focused projects
- Manage enrolments
- Book venues
- Produce course materials
- Communication with course participants, faculty and
owners
- Set up and lead conference calls with the course participants to facilitate their registration into the VLE (virtual learning
environment)
- Monitor the level of learner involvement at local and remote sites, reports on and assists in maintaining active participation by learners across all locations
- Provide “Level 1” video teleconference and VLE support to instructors including, basic VTC orientation and troubleshooting and coordinating VTC
support
- Establish close working relationship with technical support contacts of all internally used VLE platforms
- Support virtual delivery of training or meetings by assisting instructor in monitoring course progress and adhering to course timetables and scheduled
breaks

- Assure training records are current and correct
- Assure all communications go out on time and reach intended audience
- Assure cancellations are done on time to avoid fees
- Produce materials on time with high quality
Experience & Knowledge
Essential Skills and Experience (years and nature)
- Experience with successful delivery of blended or virtual learning or meetings support, ideally using Moodle or
Webex
- Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an administrative role
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and multi-task; ability to work on multiple training programmes simultaneously
- Demonstrated customer focus and ability to work with many different people in setting up and staging
training
- High level of competency with Microsoft
Office
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and work with multiple platforms
- Must have the ability to work cooperatively and flexibly as part of a fast-paced and geographically dispersed team (very important)
- Must be skilled in working with databases (e.g., VTA Learning Management System, PeopleSoft, Access, SAP), reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reporting), and Microsoft Excel (e.g., use of pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
