Why
don’t I get any payment for the first week of training?
You do get
payment for the first week but like most jobs you are paid a
week in arrears.
Does
this mean I only get paid for 9 weeks?
No you are
paid for 10 weeks in total, which means that you get the
final payment a week after placement has ended.
How
do I receive payment?
It is paid by
transfer directly into the account that you supplied details
off during your induction.
When
do I need to do my timesheet by?
Ideally try
and complete your timesheet on Friday afternoon when on
training or on placement. If you forget or don’t have time
to do it it’s important we receive it by Monday midday. So
you could fill it out online over the weekend or on Monday
morning.
What
happens if I don’t do it by Monday?
Due to our
payroll system you may not get paid for that week on the
following Friday.
If
I miss the deadline for payroll what do I do?
Fill in your
online timesheet as soon as possible. It will be processed
and payment will be carried over to the next payment week,
this means you may receive two payments in one week.
What
do I do if I make a mistake on my timesheet?
You must
let us know as soon as possible. Use the
skmpay@lovetate.co.uk
e-mail to inform us and then fill out a correct timesheet
for the week that you made an error.
I
filled out my timesheet and I haven’t received payment when
it was due, what do I do?
Again
let us know as soon as possible using skmpay@lovetate.co.uk
e-mail to inform us. We will check the payroll and see if we
posted payment to your bank and let you know. We will then
instruct you what to do with either your bank to get further
information or let you know why you may not have been paid.
Is
there any reason I wouldn’t be paid?
If we are
informed that you claim for payment is dishonest we may not
pay you for the week you have claimed. We would always try
to contact you in advance of payment to let you know this
where possible. Please don’t claim for whole or half days
that you haven’t worked as the placement provider will let
us know. We will reclaim any money miss paid to you under
such circumstances. If your error was accidental we will
adjust subsequent payment.
What
do I do if I am unable to attend placement for any period?
You must
inform both Love & Tate
(
020 7256 6668
and your placement provider immediately. There is nothing
more unsettling for everyone if you just disappear without
letting us know. This applies if you are even going to be
late, please let us know. It’s courteous and good
customer/client service.
